Paryas greenhouse

The greenhouse of Zaveh Tarbat Cement Company with the Paryas brand is the largest hydroponic glass greenhouse in the east of Iran. The purpose of establishing this greenhouse is to implement new approaches in the agricultural industry along with environmental protection.

After 15 months of tireless efforts, in March 2016, Paryas started producing tasty and healthy tomatoes.

Based on the vision of Zaveh Torbet cement, our main values are innovation and quality. We therefore grow the produce as organically as possible in our state-of-the-art Dutch greenhouse.

Part of what we have done to ensure sustainable production is as follows:

Using recycled heat from the chimney of the nearby factory to heat the greenhouse for 4 to 6 months a year
Elimination of water wastage with the help of new irrigation methods
Removal of chemical poisons with the help of biological methods of pest control, such as the use of beneficial insects that destroy pests
Recycling excess water from the greenhouse drainage system and using it in the almond orchard and nearby vineyard.
Collecting and recycling extra pruned leaves to produce compost

Currently, the main product of the greenhouse, which has the largest production share, is the cluster tomato, which is produced in two types, large and cherry. So far, the product has been exported to the countries of the Persian Gulf and Eurasia.

Using the knowledge of experts, this unit has reverse-engineered all the main structural parts purchased from the Dutch company Dalsem and has built a greenhouse of 2100 square meters next to the existing greenhouse with the purpose of exclusively producing seedlings.

Part of what we have done to ensure sustainable production is the following:

Eliminating water waste with new irrigation methods
Removing chemical poisons using biological pest control methods, such as using beneficial insects to kill pests.
Recycle excess water from the greenhouse drainage system and use it in the almond orchard and nearby vineyard.
Collect and process excess leaf clippings to produce compost

The irrigation system in this greenhouse is designed as a tidal system, which is a suitable substrate for the production of healthy and strong seedlings during the seedling production season. Also, after transferring the seedlings to the main greenhouse, all kinds of capsicum and capsicum cultivars in different colors are grown in this greenhouse and sold in the domestic and export markets.

Also, in order to make optimal use of all available spaces on the site and to benefit from the knowledge of cultivation experts, two small greenhouses with an area of 700 square meters are under strawberry cultivation. which is offered in domestic markets.

The construction project of the existing greenhouse expansion plan of 48,000 square meters was initiated in 2018 and a part of the construction operation has been completed so far. It is expected that the greenhouse will be put into operation by the end of 1403.
